Ingredients

1 store-bought pizza dough, drizzled with olive oil and stretched

1 ½ cups Mari’s holy grail pizza sauce (get the recipe)

2 cups buffalo mozzarella or fresh mozzarella balls, sliced

10 fresh basil leaves, torn

Preparation

Preheat oven to 550°F or as hot as your oven allows. Place baking sheet into oven and preheat. Remove and quickly place stretched dough onto the baking sheet. Brush dough with 1 tablespoon tomato sauce, and bake for 2 minutes. Remove from oven and top with remaining pizza sauce and mozzarella. Bake another 6 minutes until crust is baked. Top with basil leaves to serve.

To get some greens in, top pizza with arugula tossed in lemon juice, or serve on the side. It’s a nice peppery flavour to add this and any pizza.
