Summer Radishes With Cold Butter And Sea Salt
On a recent trip to New York, my daughter and I had dinner at the French restaurant, Le Dive in the lower east side. It was a bit hipster and loud. Think young person’s night club with loud music and tiny stools. You know the kind you’re trying to balance on, and look cool a the same time. Haha!
My daughter loved it, and I did all I could to blend in. But then we opened the menu and at the very top was: Radishes and butter with warm baguette. We ordered it straight away!
Niçoise salad with salmon, capers and radishes
Crisp and packed with protein, a Niçoise (ni-swaz) salad is the perfect lunch, we've even served it for dinner. Though this French classic is traditionally made with canned tuna (we use the Italian tuna packed in olive oil), here we serve it with seared salmon.
