Multigrain sunflower sesame loaf

Ingredients

1 cup rye flakes

1 cup whole wheat flour

1 cup wheat germ

1⁄2 cup whole flax seeds

1⁄2 cup sunflower seeds

1⁄2 cup sesame seeds

2 teaspoons baking soda

2 teaspoons coarse salt

2 cups plain yogurt

2 eggs

3 tablespoons honey


Preparation

Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease 8-inch square metal cake pan; set aside.

In large bowl, combine rye flakes, whole wheat flour, wheat germ, flax, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, stir together yogurt, eggs and honey. Pour over dry ingredients and mix well. Let mixture rest for 30 minutes. Spoon batter into prepared pan. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes or until skewer inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool before slicing.
