Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking soda

2 tablespoons sugar

1⁄2 teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons chopped fresh dill

1 cup cream-style cottage cheese

2 tablespoons butter, melted

1 egg, slightly beaten

1⁄2 cup buttermilk

Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease 8 x 4-inch loaf pan; set aside.

In large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, sugar, salt and dill. In separate bowl, mix together cottage cheese, butter, egg and buttermilk. Add to flour mixture and stir until combined. Spoon batter into prepared pan. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until top is lightly golden. Cover with foil the last 10 minutes of baking to prevent overbrowning. Remove from oven and let cool in pan 5 minutes.
