Peanut butter bar with oatmeal and marshmallows

A recipe so delightful, even your mother-in-law will want the recipe.


Ingredients

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup 35% cream

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 cup peanut butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup large flaked rolled oats

2 1/2 cups corn flakes

1 cup chopped peanuts

1 cup mini marshmallows

Preparation

Line 8-inch square metal pan with parchment paper. Set aside.

In medium saucepan, melt butter with cream. Add sugar and bring mixture to boil; reduce to low. Stir in peanut butter and add vanilla; remove from heat. In large bowl, combine oats, cornflakes, peanuts and marshmallows. Pour melted mixture over oats mixture; toss to coat. Pat mixture into prepared pan. Cover and chill 2 hours or up to 3 days. Cut into squares.
